Today is a special day for three former Formula 1 drivers as they are all celebrating their birthdays! It seems that the 27th of August is a popular date for racing drivers to be born. Gerhard Berger will be blowing out 60 candles on his cake, Derek Warwick 65 and Sergey Sirotkin is comparatively young and turns 24 today.
Gerhard Berger
Berger was a very talented driver and took part in Formula 1 for the first time in 1984 during the Austrian Grand Prix. The Austrian racer won 5 races over a 96 race career and was unlucky not to be more successful but it was hard to get results when racing alongside the likes of Prost, Senna and Schumacher.

Derek Warwick
Warwick is a British former racer who made his debut at the 1981 San Marino Grand Prix. Although he never won a Grand Prix he finished on the podium four times and won the 1992 24 Hours of Le Mans and 1992 World Sportscar Championship.
Sergey Sirotkin
Turning 24 today, Sirotkin is a bit younger than the other two! Having driven for Williams in 2018, the Russian driver is currently a Renault test driver and will have aims to get back into the race seat of an F1 car in the future.
Happy Birthday to you all!
