Pierre Gasly believes he will make the necessary progress and will make the improvements desired by his employers at Red Bull but maintains that nothing will happen overnight, as the Frenchman continues to struggle.
It looked like Gasly had turned a corner following the Spanish Grand Prix but his form has once again dropped off finishing P8, tenth and seventh at the last three races respectively. His form has led to speculation surrounding his future with Helmut Marko being very public with his views of the Frenchman.
Despite being under intense scrutiny Gasly continues to work hard to improve, and he has once again come out and expressed the progress he and the team are making.
"We can't solve everything at once, but we should be able to improve performance quickly," Gasly told the press.
"However, I don't want to say too much about it now, but I have reasonable confidence that there will be some improvement this weekend."
