The Sprint Shootout is over! Max Verstappen will start Sunday afternoon's sprint race from pole position, with McLaren driver Oscar Piastri next to him. Carlos Sainz completes the top three. AlphaTauri driver Daniel Ricciardo just missed coming to SQ3. He achieved the 11th fastest time.
Sergio Perez did not get further than P8. Charles Leclerc was slower than teammate Sainz, and Norris starts three places behind his rookie teammate. Aston Martin driver caused a red flag on the track in SQ2. Together with 42-year-old teammate Fernando Alonso, the drivers were good for 14th and 15th place.
