Full results qualifying Baku | Leclerc much faster than Verstappen

The pole position for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is for Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque eventually proved to be a lot faster than Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen. Also teammate Carlos Sainz could not mean much

On the Baku street circuit, overtaking is easier than in Monaco, so the Red Bull drivers can still be satisfied with their position for Sunday's race. Sainz will be slightly less satisfied after he lightly hit the wall on his fast lap and could not improve his time.

George Russell again does good business for Mercedes with a P5. Lewis Hamilton has already finished seventh, but the FIA will investigate an incident by the Briton after the session. Hamilton namely drove unnecessarily slow during Q2.

Pierre Gasly, Yuki Tsunoda, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso complete the top ten. Both McLaren drivers did not make it to Q3, so Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo must hope for a better race pace.
