Qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix was the scene of Charles Leclerc's first pole position last season. However, a lot has changed in the past year and a half. This time, both Ferraris were outside the top ten.

Ferrari save tyres for the race

Ferrari even seemed to throw in the towel a bit with one run in Q2 on the medium tyres. If the end times of this session are compared with the times of 2019, then we know enough. All teams with Ferrari engines are slower. That was of course already known, but nowhere was this difference as clear as here.
