Kimi Antonelli won his third race in a row, extending his lead considerably in the drivers' standings. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri completed the podium at the Miami Grand Prix.
The 25 points scored by the Italian are especially important given that George Russell finished only fourth in Florida today. This means Antonelli now leads his teammate by 20 points in the drivers' standings.
After a nightmare start, Max Verstappen finished in fifth place today. The four-time world champion had a busy day with various overtakes after being on an alternative strategy. He also made contact with George Russell with three laps to go. After a spin and multiple incidents during final lap, Charles Leclerc fell down to P6. After the race, the Monegasque driver received a 20-second penalty, which relegated him to P8.
Franco Colapinto once again scored points for Alpine, while Williams can also celebrate in Miami after both Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon finished inside the top ten on Sunday.
