Formula 1 announces test results for COVID-19 from last week

Despite the fact that the Formula 1 circus is now taking a break from their tour of Europe, all the people involved are still being tested. The results are crucial for the further course of the season. Should a source of infection be found somewhere, it will have major consequences for that team or even the sport in general.

That these tests are necessary appeared last week, when two more people were found positive prior to the Hungarian Grand Prix. These two people were not present in Hungary and could therefore easily be isolated.

This week Formula 1 has even better news. Of the 1461 tests taken between Friday 17 July and Thursday 23 July, nobody was positive. There are a lot less than previous weeks and that's because there will be no Grand Prix this week.
