Unluckily timed comment Schumacher: "It's logical that Lance will be sacrificed”

With the possible arrival of Sebastian Vettel at Racing Point, Lance Stroll or Sergio Perez will have to clear the field. Analysts are falling over each other with their predictions as to which of the two will be. Ralf Schumacher thought Lawrence Stroll will not be merciful to his son for the weekend in Hungary.
"If you're talking about pure speed, it makes sense that you have to sacrifice Stroll's son," he said before the GP of Hungary at Sky Sport Germany. ''Don't forget that Perez brings in a lot of money. He's got a very good sponsor on his side."

Stroll not the only one who decides

"It's not like only his father invests money there. Other partners are also involved. And he can't let his son drive there forever if he's too bad. They have the car now, so he has a chance to use it. If it doesn't work now, he'll never make it."
It's a somewhat unfortunate prediction by Schumacher, because that's exactly what Stroll seems to have done on the Hungaroring. It's only one race, but both in qualifying and on Sunday afternoon he was clearly the better of the two. If he can keep this up it will make the decision for Racing Point very easy.
