The presidential elections for the FIA are currently in full swing. Mohammed Ben Sulayem and Tim Mayer are the two candidates for the upcoming term. The former proudly shared a lot of support for him to remain.
Mohammed Ben Sulayem is currently serving his first term as FIA president. The former rally driver would like to add a second term and has stood for election again. Carlos Sainz Sr. seemed to be his challenger for a while, but the Spaniard decided not to stand for election after all.
Tim Mayer, a former steward at the governing body, announced at Silverstone that he would like to become FIA president. The American is focusing his campaign on Sulayem's current leadership style.
The current FIA president shared a post on Instagram, showing that he has already received a lot of support from all parts of the world. The signed letters show that Sulayem receives support from all over Africa, but also from Asia and many Spanish-speaking countries support the Emirati.
