Kevin Magnussen's driving was further scrutinised by the stewards after the sprint race in Miami. The Dane had already accumulated 35 seconds of time penalties, but there was a chance the Haas driver's penalty could be bigger. The FIA reached their conclusion and announced judgement.

FIA makes decision in Magnussen's case

Magnussen had to be put on the stewards' watch after possible 'unsportsmanlike conduct'. The 31-year-old driver was cleared by the stewards and did not receive a penalty that would affect the rest of his weekend. So the provisional grid has not changed yet, and Magnussen will start the Miami Grand Prix in 18th place.
