Ferrari would come to Austria with an engine update that should give a profit of no less than 15hp, but the race stable itself still denies that. According to Ferrari there are only some small updates for the first Grand Prix of 2020.
During the winter tests in Barcelona there was one team that was immediately confronted with the facts: Ferrari. The team barely seemed to move forward and analysts even saw it as a possibility that the pink Mercedes could claim third place among the constructors.

No updates for Ferrari

That's over four months ago now and it is said that Ferrari has prepared a new update for the first race in Austria. After the engine regulations of the FIA, Ferrari is under a magnifying glass, but that wouldn't stop the race stable from bringing an update with 15hp gains.
''We've only made some small changes to the car. It was now more about understanding the SF1000 so that we can get more out of it and take a step forward that way," said a spokesman for Ferrari to Auto, Motor und Sport. How big that step is and how it compares to the updates of Red Bull Racing and Mercedes, we won't see until qualifying in Austria.
