Verstappen and Wolff met this time in Italy
Previously, it was rumoured that
Max Verstappen and
Toto Wolff met at Sardinia ahead of the Belgian GP. Then, it was only rumours, the meeting did not take place.
Wolff and Verstappen maintain a good relationship having known each other for a long time, and it's not surprising that they spend time together if they happen to be at the same place.
Cadillac's driver line-up
GPblog could previously report based on multiple sources that
Valtteri Bottas has agreed to terms with the 11th team on the F1 grid that is set to join in the 2026 season. However, a contract has not been signed yet.
A day before, a report on a British website suggested that
Cadillac agreed to a contract with
Sergio Perez, which is said to be announced during the week of the Italian GP.
GPblog can categorically deny that the Mexican has signed a contract, but is also not excluded from the list of candidates, together with other drivers in it. Where do things stand at the moment?

Mercedes' "advantage" for 2026
