Lewis Hamilton missed out on a place in the top 10 of the team principals' rankings and Max Verstappen is going on holiday. Here’s a recap of the best stories of the day on GPblog!
Hamilton snubbed as F1 team bosses’ 2025 top-ten drivers list disclosed
As per usual, the team principals voted for their top 10 drivers of the Formula 1 season.
Verstappen was named the best driver of the season after the Dutchman finished ahead of world champion Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in the rankings.
Notably, Hamilton was missing from the top 10. The British driver had a difficult year with Ferrari, and failed to earn a Grand Prix podium finish for the first time in his career.

Verstappen, Kelly Piquet and family on holiday: they'll spend New Year's Eve here!
According to flight information from Verstappen's private jet, the four-time world champion flew to Brazil.
The Dutchman's partner, Kelly Piquet, already posted an Instagram story from a beach.
Previously, on the Talking Bull podcast, Verstappen addressed his plans for the off-season.

He said: "So, first Christmas together, then on holiday with some good friends as well. I'm really looking forward to that, first of all. I really need it."
Jacques Villeneuve picks his most under-the-radar F1 teams of the season
The 1997 F1 world champion has picked two teams as the most under-the-radar performers of the past season.
Speaking to a gambling site, the Canadian praised both Williams and Sauber for their 2025 campaigns. Read more here!
