Cadillac F1 debuts bold stars and stripes livery for first Miami GP

The Cadillac Formula 1 team has unveiled a special livery ahead of its maiden Miami Grand Prix appearance.
The American outfit revealed the one-off design in partnership with TWG AI. The livery has been created to celebrate the team’s first race on home soil and blends a strong expression of Americana into its dual-tone black-and-white base, originally unveiled during Super Bowl LX in February 2026.
The design features the Stars and Stripes motif subtly integrated throughout, while the front wing carries 50 stars – representing each US state – symbolising the team’s deep American identity. The familiar black-and-white scheme is also enhanced with additional colour accents for the Miami event, while the rear wing proudly displays “USA” in red, white and blue.

Mekies breaks silence on Lambiase exit

In another development, Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies addressed talks surrounding Gian Piero Lambiase and his confirmed departure from Red Bull Racing.
Lambiase, who serves as Head of Racing and race engineer for Max Verstappen at the Milton Keynes-based outfit, is set to leave at the end of the 2027 season to join rivals McLaren. Mekies was asked whether Red Bull had done enough to convince the British-Italian engineer to stay, either by offering a comparable role or matching the terms of his new deal.

In response, the Red Bull boss stressed that Lambiase remains fully committed to the team despite the announcement. He revealed that the move had been discussed internally for some time and acknowledged the scale of the opportunity presented to the 45-year-old.
