The days tick down until F1 returns with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, but that does not mean the news slows down. Today, a supposedly leaked document from the FIA outlines potential radical changes by president Mohammed Ben Sulayem, along with special colourised videos from the first ever F1 race, and Lewis Hamilton unfollowing everyone on his Instagram.

'Ben Sulayem proposing radical changes to the FIA in order for stricter control'

In a leaked document that was seen by the BBC, there have been outlined changes that the FIA president is hoping to make to the sport's governing body.
If these changes do take place, there is the potential for the Emirati to tighten his grip on the power he currently holds as the FIA president.
One of the biggest proposals would "bring forward the deadline for candidates for December's presidential election", which would give Ben Sulayem the "possibility to bar any candidate from running against him" in December's presidential elections.

F1 celebrates 75th anniversary by restoring unseen footage of first-ever Grand Prix

One of those ways was marked today, as footage from the first ever Grand Prix in F1 history was released, coloured especially for today.
There have been many photos released from the 1950 British Grand Prix, too, along with the footage.

Hamilton unfollows everyone on Instagram

In a shake-up to Lewis Hamilton's social media persona, the 40-year-old unfollowed every one of the accounts he previously followed today.
The Brit has amassed 39.5 followers on his Instagram account, but today, there are zero accounts that he now follows, including Ferrari and his own dog, Roscoe.
His X and TikTok accounts still have accounts that he follows, meaning that his Instagram account is the only social media platform to have zero accounts followed.
