Formula 1 has announced a two-year deal with broadcasters Sky Deutschland, a pay-per-view platform in Germany and Austria along with German-language rights in Switzerland.
Each session from both the 2019 and 2020 world championships will be shown live across satellite, cable, IPTV, web and mobile platforms.
Those with Sky Q will be able to watch the action in Ultra HD. However, Germans can still watch F1 on free-to-air TV.
RTL will still show Grands Prix on their free-to-air platform. Another deal which highlights the lack of free-to-air coverage in over countries like the UK and Italy.
Ian Holmes Director of Media Rights said: "It's great to be working together again with Sky, helping them to enhance and elevate their broadcast offering of the sport. The breadth of their coverage over the years has always impressed us and I am sure their subscribers will once again be looking forward to Sky's comprehensive coverage of the sport."
