F1 paddock runs with Vettel on the eve of his last Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi

Sebastian Vettel is about to embark on the very last Formula 1 race of his career. On the eve of his final Grand Prix, many familiar faces from the F1 paddock have gathered to run a final lap around the track with Vettel.

It promises to be an emotional weekend for Vettel and Aston Marton, but also for the F1 paddock. This was already evident from the various helmet designs a number of drivers are driving with as a tribute to the four-time world champion. His fellow drivers also had many kind words for him prior to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

On the evening before his last F1 race, a large group of people gathered at the Yas Marina Circuit to run a final lap of the circuit with Vettel. They were all decked out in t-shirts with the words 'Danke Seb', while Vettel in turn wore a t-shirt saying 'Danke F1'.

Of course, many Aston Martin team members were present, but Mick Schumacher was also in attendance and even Stefano Domenicali ran along. "Tonight, with our friends and colleagues from up and down the F1 paddock, we run with Seb. Tomorrow, for the final time, we race with a legend adored throughout the sport. It's going to be emotional," reads the team's caption.
