Formula One has released a new game for fans to play, called Fantasy F1. The partnership means that Formula One can branch into the market that has been so successful in other sports, such as Premier League football or Indian Premier League cricket.
The partnership with PlayON will be also joined with another new service, F1 TV.
The head of digital and new business at Formula One, Frank Arthofer, believes that this game can increase interest in the sport among a younger audience.
“Formula One is continuously looking for ways to engage with new audiences, particularly in the digital space,” he said.
“Fantasy sports is an exciting industry and offers us the opportunity to engage with a young and vibrant fan base.

“We believe in PlayON, its product, leadership and its strict approach to regulation, only operating real money games in territories that have a clearly established regulatory framework in place; this enables Formula 1 to enter the daily fantasy market without concern over legality.”
So, will you be playing Fantasy F1?
