A lot of people were surprised to see the Australian Grand Prix remain on the schedule, but those question marks have now grown bigger following McLaren's pull out.
McLaren has withdrawn from the Australian Grand Prix because of the COVID-19 and that seems to set the tone for the rest of the Formula 1 weekend. Nevertheless, Formula 1 itself persists in the fact that it thinks about health, as the latest statement of the organisation shows.

F1 left behind?

Formula 1 and the FIA have have been coordinating with all the relevant authorities on the next steps. Our priority is the safety of the fans, the teams and all personnel at the race," the statement read.
Now that McLaren has withdrawn, the question is whether Formula 1 can hold on to the GP. The coronavirus is increasingly gaining control of the rest of the world and many organizations have already cancelled various events.
