Rubens Barrichello has urged Lewis Hamilton to keep his conversations with his Scuderia Ferrari engineer private, rather than airing them over team radio. “…is something you solve behind closed doors; you don't solve it out here.”

F1 driver urged the seven-time world champion to speak less on the radio, noting that several of his words would be broadcast. Barrichello further advised Hamilton to hold conversations with his engineer behind closed doors.
“You see, what you can more or less tell is that the guy on the radio is a bit of a pain in the a**, isn't he?” he began.
“He throws a few punches at the engineer, which is something you solve behind closed doors; you don't solve it out here.”
“You know you’re coming here, you’re living here. There's all the emotion… emotion is fire, man,” he concluded.
