Bernie Ecclestone does not believe five-time World Champion, Lewis Hamilton will join Ferrari from current team Mercedes with the Brit going head to head with the Scuderia for the title this season.
Hamilton has won four of the last five World Championships only being beaten by then-teammate Nico Rosberg in 2016. The Brit won his first title in 2008 but had to wait until 2014 until his next, his first with Mercedes and has not looked back since.
Hamilton is currently second in the driver’s standings one point behind Valtteri Bottas. Despite closing in on every major record going Ecclestone feels he’s still going strong.
"He's in great shape," Ecclestone told Sport Bild.
"Formula 1 is basically Lewis' hobby, he's really comfortable.”

Hamilton has always been a long-time admirer of the Ferrari vehicles but the former F1 boss does not expect to see him in the red of the Italian team anytime soon.
"I don't think he'll change teams now, I think if Mercedes stop in 2020, Lewis will stop as well."
According to Ecclestone Hamilton isn’t the only driver who’s made his last move stating about Sebastian Vettel: “He won't change teams, he will end his career and I think not much is needed for that to happen.”
