Daniel Ricciardo clinched his first points for Renault during the Chinese Grand Prix, but the Australian believes his new team still has a lot of work to do.
"First points, it's good to get on the board, good to finish the race and it was nice. We'll take the positives and build on that, there's a lot of work to do though, we need to work to get both cars home and in the points," Ricciardo told Sky Spots.
Nico Hulkenberg, Ricciardo's teammate, was the first driver to retire from the 1000th Formula 1 Grand Prix. However, last year's race winner was not told. In Bahrain, the two Renault's retired simultaneously.
"I never like to know if a teammate retires, what can I do, it's best I don't know because otherwise, it's something else to worry about."
