Reports suggest that Daniel Ricciardo's former adviser (Glenn Beavis) is claiming that he is owed more than $10 million over unpaid commissions. The Aussie left Red Bull and signed a two-year contract with Renault. His former advisor claims that he is owed money after Ricciardo signed the contract with the French team.
“There is no substance to Glenn Beavis’ claim," Ricciardo said to Motorsport.com.
“It is unfortunate that he has decided to bring this wholly unmeritorious claim which I intend to fully defend in the court process.”
Glenn Beavis believes that he is owed money after getting Ricciardo a deal with Renault.
It will be interesting to see the outcome of the case and if the distraction will impact Ricciardo's performance at the German Grand Prix this weekend.
