Constructors' Standings | Red Bull and Ferrari close up to Mercedes

Max Verstappen's epic win at Imola did not prevent McLaren from edging away in the standings, however, his result, and Ferrari's, made it possible for both teams to move up on P2 placed Mercedes.
McLaren is dominating at their leisure with 279 points, a gap of 132 points to Mercedes in P2 and 148 to Red Bull in P3. With their 2-3 finish the Woking-based team took home a valuable 33 points, seven more than Red Bull.
The Austrians managed to add 25 points to their tally from Verstappen's win and 1 from Yuki Tsunoda's P10, which makes their total Imola haul of 26 points, 20 more than Mercedes'.
For the Germans, due to their lack of pace and reliability issues which provoked Andrea Kimi Antonelli's retirement, they only managed to salvage 6 points thanks to George Russell's P7. it was a weekend to forget quickly.
For Ferrari it was a double points finish. Timely race neutralisations helped Lewis Hamilton climb back up the order after having started the race in P12, and hindered Leclerc's charge up the grid from P11. Ferrari walks away from Imola with 20 points more to their name.
