An unrivalled Max Verstappen came through to win the Imola Grand Prix in dominant fashion as Charles Leclerc's efforts were derailed by the way the circumstances of the race panned out, the Internet judged.
Verstappen took the lead at the start of the race from Oscar Piastri and never looked back. In the end, the Dutchman was able to pull out a second-per-lap advantage over his McLaren pursuers. An 'alien' feat, a user on X noted.
However, many others also payed attention to Leclerc's 'unlucky' race, with some believing that Ferrari had once again let down the Monegasque talent.
