The 11th team on the grid entering next season, Cadillac, have secured their first major deal. The newly formed team's drivers are yet to be announced, however, they are partnering with a brand that have been closely associated with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes. In the 2026 season, Cadillac will become the 11th team in Formula 1. It will the first team a new team joins the competition since 2016, when another American squad, Haas joined.
Cadillac currently do not have a driver announced for the next campaign, but the Americans have brought some well-known names, including Graeme Lowdon (team principal) and Pat Symonds (technical advisor).
Now, the team are also bringing in a new clothing sponsor.
Who will Cadillac's new sponsor be?
Tommy Hilfiger are already an established clothing sponsor For
F1 teams. They entered the competition in 1991 supplying Lotus, and then Ferrari has well. Since 2016, they were the sponsors of Mercedes, but especially fashion icon Lewis Hamilton.
With the Briton leaving the team as well, Mercedes now have Adidas as their suppliers.
Tommy Hilfiger are increasingly visible in F1, as now only they have a deal with Cadillac, but they also provided clothing for the F1 movie with Brad Pitt. The brand, which originate from America, is trying to capitalise on the growing interest of the American audience in F1.
