Button sees positive in new F1 team name: 'People talk about it, right?'

The 2024 Formula 1 season may not have started yet, but there are already plenty of discussions currently taking place on various topics within the top class of motorsport. For instance, AlphaTauri announced they will be called Visa Cash App RB. The name has been a topic of debate in the F1 world. Jenson Button now gives his positive opinion.

Button wasn't 100% sure of the news, so asked The Associated Press to confirm. "What is the new name? Visa Cash App... what comes after that? So it is Visa. Cash App. RB. What?," Button said. The Brit sees a positive in the new name for Red Bull Racing's sister team.

"People are talking about it, right? So that's good," the 44-year-old Briton explained. "It's obviously worked in getting people to talk about it," the WEC driver concluded. Visa Cash App RB's new car will be launched on 8 February. That will be done in Las Vegas, where it will be raced later in the season.
