Sergio Marchionne is set to step down as Ferrari boss following health issues.
Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne is set to step down from the role and a quick replacement is to be made.
Automotive News Europe reports that Marchionne was due to step down late on in 2018, however the departure is now imminent due to health issues that are a result of his recent shoulder operation.
There have been meetings today regarding who would be Marchionne's replacement at Ferrari - Louis Carey Camilleri, a board member at Ferrari is the current favourite to be the new CEO at the Italian giants.
Marchionne's impact at Ferrari has been great - most recently, bringing Alfa Romeo back into Formula One as title sponsors of partners, Sauber.

He's also a strong voice in the sport and has threatened to pull Ferrari out of the sport if the 2021 regulations aren't up to his team's expectations.
Ferrari are currently not making any comment on this matter.
