Ross Brawn has credited Toro Rosso for Red Bull’s reliability improvement in 2019 after they were effectively the guinea pigs for Red Bull’s Honda experiment.
The team switched from Renault engines after a torrid 2018 saw them suffer too many retirements with engine issues.
The Honda engine has been solid enough and every Honda powered car finished in the points in Monaco at the weekend.
Brawn said: "Much of that is down to the Milton Keynes team, but the contribution from its sister team in Faenza is very important, both for what it did last year and for the way the team is running this season.
“Plus, between the two teams, they have a group of young drivers with different levels of experience who are proving very competitive.”
