Robert Kubica has accepted the obvious and said that Williams will struggle to score any points this year, as they look well off the pace of any other team.
The problems for Williams started in pre-season testing when they missed the first two days in Spain as their car was not ready.
They’ve been off the pace and Kubica has been a regular at the back of the grid and as the last finisher.
He told Polish broadcaster TVP: “Formula 1 changes very fast, but I hope that this season will end well for us.
“I think we will not be on the podium, and we will also have problems collecting points, because now the gap is huge.

“Even if other teams froze work on their cars, it would still be difficult for us to fight them.
“We will try to get closer to the rest and this is a real goal for this season.”
