Valtteri Bottas and Charles Leclerc received a lot of criticism during the second Grand Prix weekend that they had gone home in between. Bottas doesn't care about that, because he's going back to Monaco again.
After the Austrian Grand Prix teams and drivers stayed in Austria. At least, that was expected. However, there was no clarity from Formula 1 and so Leclerc and Bottas decided to return home. A strange picture since everything and everyone on the team remains locked up, but Bottas says he needs it.

Bottas leaves again

"There's no reason to hide it. I'm going home just like I did last week and I'm going to stay with the people I think I should. They are also on the track and within my bubble'', says Bottas according to Racefans.net. Bottas is going back to Monaco with his trainer and girlfriend, where he can come to his own.
''It's good for me to be able to switch off for a few days and then join the meetings again. The virtual meetings are also more and more on the agenda in today's society'', concludes Bottas who takes the lead in the standings after two races.
