Bottas shows new girlfriend and lashes out at 'haters'

Valtteri Bottas will walk into the new season with a spring in his step after announcing he has a new girlfriend. He started the 2019 season with a splendid performance in the Australian Grand Prix, but he couldn't keep up with Lewis Hamilton either side of the summer break.

Prior to the final race of the season, the Finnish driver posted announced his divorce with his wife. Bottas has moved on through the winter and shown an update in a social media post.

The post brought him strong criticism from his followers. His followers thought he was going too fast. Of course, very quick reactions emerged under the post as: "If you can race against Lewis Hamilton as fast as you can get a new girlfriend, you will become world champion in 2020."

Bottas' new girlfriend is cyclist Tiffany Cromwell. With the 'Haters going to Hate' hashtag, the Finn lashes out at his fans and followers who now suddenly criticize him. The Finn already stated in a statement about the divorce with his ex-wife:

Cromwell posted the same photo and added underneath: "We are happy and that is all that counts for us."
