Valtteri Bottas stormed out of the blocks in Australia last year. The Finnish driver dominated proceedings around Albert Park as he walked away with the maximum 26 points. The Mercedes driver managed to challenge teammate Lewis Hamilton in the following few races but lost touch before and after the summer break.
Bottas believes he knows what he needs to change going into the 2020 F1 season. He insists he can beat anyone on his day.
"I did win a number of races last season, but overall Lewis was just better. That is why I have had to improve in many areas, I needed to become more constant. If I can get 100% out of myself on good days, I now feel that it is really possible. I feel that I can beat everyone. I am only interested in the fact that I can be better this year," Bottas told Motorsport.com.
Bottas set the fastest combined time in the first week of testing, getting his first marker down against Hamilton before the season has started.
