Bottas disappointed with third place: "The start was the weak spot today"

Another disappointing day for Valtteri Bottas. He finished third, but there might have been more to it. He did take over fourth place in the championship from Sergio Perez.

In his post-race interview with Jenson Button, Bottas' disappointment was clear. In his analysis of the race, he sees the start as the biggest problem today. "The start was the weak spot today. On both starts, like Lewis [Hamilton] yesterday, we had quite a bit of wheelspin, which made it difficult."

Bottas' pit stop did not go well either. "I had to react to Lewis' stop and we stopped too early and so helped Lewis to victory." At the end of the race, the Finn was additionally given team orders to pass Hamilton who was then able to take the win. "As a team, we scored really good points," Bottas is diplomatic.
