Formula E driver Sam Bird is fuming about the fact that Max Verstappen's public service punishment was to watch a Formula E race.
Max Verstappen was punished by the FIA for pushing Esteban Ocon after the 2018 Brazilian Grand Prix. The FIA decided that they would make Verstappen observe the stewards over the race weekend of the Formula E race.
One of the top Formula E drivers, Sam Bird, has said that it is an "injustice” that this was his punishment.
I mean, to call coming to Formula E race ‘community service’ I think does Formula E a bit of an injustice,” Bird said in the post-race press conference, as quoted by racefans.net.
“It shouldn’t be a punishment to come here.

It doesn't seem like much of a punishment being made to watch a Formula E race! Maybe Verstappen got off lightly but he didn't come up with the punishment.
