Baku weather update: Clouds and wind lower temperatures

It appears to remain dry as promised in Azerbaijan's Baku, where the fourth GP of the 2023 F1 season will be held. It was expected to be sunny on Friday, but for now it is somewhat cloudy and there is mostly strong wind.

Getting the tyres warmed up during the first free practice and qualifying for Sunday's race, which take place on Friday, is potentially going to be a challenge for the drivers. In this week's Weather.com weather forecast, the sun would be seen the most on Friday, while the lowest temperatures were also predicted for that day.

The predicted 21 degrees Celsius still stands, but strong winds and clouds mean it is still quite chilly in Baku at the moment. It will therefore be interesting to say the least to see how the drivers handle their tyres on Friday. The temperature climbs to 25 degrees over the next two days. There is about a 10 per cent chance of rain over the weekend. Sunday night after the race and on Monday there is a big chance of rain, though.
