Audi has responded to
Andreas Seidl's arrival at Sauber. The former
McLaren team boss has chosen to take up a new challenge and join his new team as CEO. It creates a lot of satisfaction at
Audi.
Although it is still a few years away, Sauber and
Audi are gearing up for the upcoming partnership in 2026. Behind the scenes, therefore, they are busy laying a solid foundation for the future, with bringing in Seidl seen as a plus.
The news comes after the departure of
Frederic Vasseur, who will succeed
Mattia Binotto at
Ferrari next calendar year. However, his team had everything ready to push Seidl forward immediately. It makes for quite a few shifts with the policymakers for 2023.
