Dutch F2 driver Richard Verschoor and Dutch commentator Olav Mol were extremely frustrated
by the attitude of Lance Stroll during the press conference in Canada, as they expressed on Ziggo Sport's Race Café. Lance Stroll was slouching on the couch during the press conference in Canada
avoiding questions about his injury and alleged outburst
after the qualification while chewing gum. His entire
attitude caused a lot of frustration for Formula 2 driver Richard Verschoor.

Severe Criticism on Lance Stroll
‘’Yes, that was not okay, right? I don't want to say too much about it, but there are guys who would do everything to drive in
Formula 1. For me, it is then very frustrating to see how he behaves. Uninterested and just not answering. That is really
frustrating. There are guys who would love to be there and it seems
not to apply to him.’’ Olav Mol, the former commentator of the Dutch broadcaster Ziggo Sport, also found it to be an annoying attitude, but
stated: ‘’I've never known him to be any different, that's the problem. This boy does not live
in the normal world. If you're talking about a spoiled child, then you can put a colon after it and say Lance Stroll.’’
According to Mol, Stroll mainly kept the
speculations alive about what really happened in Spain, being vague about his injury under the guise of medical privacy.
After the Spanish Grand Prix, BBC reported
that Stroll got angry after the qualification and that Stroll
hurt his wrist in the process. Aston Martin admitted that Stroll was angry after the
qualification, but denied that the anger was related to the injury.
