Any hopes of a Ferrari win in Miami? Vasseur: 'Faster than the leaders in Jeddah'

Frederic Vasseur is well-aware of where the Scuderia's performance woes lie, and highlights their race pace as 'stronger than the leaders' in Jeddah. Any hope of an upset win in Miami for Ferrari?
As it has often been the case, and Charles Leclerc would agree with the Scuderia's team boss, Ferrari have not been able to match the strength of their pace on Sunday, with their performances on Saturdays. As such, many points have been left on the table, seeing that due to the closeness of the field, track position is of paramount importance in F1 this season.
"The most critical for us is the difference between qualifying pace and race pace," Vasseur said after the race in Saudi Arabia, as quoted by Sky Sports.
Ferrari's speed on Sundays has left nothing to be desired, particularly in Bahrain and Jeddah, aided of course by the floor upgrade the team introduced in Sakhir.

"I think the race… the second stint was very strong. I think we were faster than [Oscar] Piastri and Verstappen in the last 35 or 40 laps of the race."
Are Ferrari ready, though, to vy for wins, and to start cutting down McLaren's mammoth lead in the Constructors'?
"We have to put our focus on this to be much more consistent all over the weekend, but I think we can take [Saudi Arabia] as a positive because we just stepped forward at least in the race pace. It was very strong and I think that the potential is there, but we just have to do a better job all over again."
