Antonelli echoes Russell's concerns over Hamilton's growing title threat

The Italian highlighted the Ferrari driver's vast experience at the front of the field, noting that competitors who have fought for titles and victories over many years are always difficult to beat.

However, Antonelli stressed that the battle remains wide open, pointing out that there are still plenty of races remaining and warning against ruling out other contenders, including Verstappen, whose late-season resurgence last year proved how quickly the championship picture can change.

George Russell believes Hamilton's recent resurgence is proof of how fine the margins are in Formula 1, arguing that success depends on every aspect of a team's package working in harmony. The Mercedes driver pointed to the complexity of modern F1 cars and suggested that Hamilton's recent performances show he never lost his ability, despite criticism over the past two seasons.

Russell added that Hamilton now appears fully comfortable with Ferrari's package, allowing him to consistently extract its potential. While he maintained that Antonelli remains the benchmark in the championship thanks to his impressive consistency, he admitted Ferrari are rapidly emerging as a major contender and warned that Hamilton is leading the Scuderia's charge back into the title battle.
