Alpine reveal pink livery that's hardly pink!

On Wednesday, Alpine presented their car for the 2024 Formula 1 season. It was also announced that the team will once again drive with a pink livery during a number of races.

The A524 is a mix of carbon with the traditional Alpine blue and the pink BWT colour. During the majority of races, the team will use this livery. But during eight races the car will feature more pink accents in honour of sponsor, BWT.

BWT was previously a loyal sponsor of Aston Martin, but they followed Otmar Szafnauer who moved to Alpine in 2022. Despite Szafnauer having had to relinquish his position, BWT remains affiliated with Alpine.

Unlike past years, the pink livery for 2024 is not very pink at all. Previously, Alpine was entirely coloured in the BTW colour. For the 2024 season, only some pink accents have been added.
