On Wednesday, Alpine became the fourth team to showcase their car for the 2024 season. Besides presenting the car, they also announced that Bruno Famin will stay on as team boss of the French team.
Previously, Otmar Szafnauer was with Aston Martin. After leaving the British team, he became team boss at Alpine. This was not long-lasting, as he had to leave after the 2023 Belgian Grand Prix.

After Szafnauer's mid-season departure, Bruno Famin was appointed interim team boss. Now it has been announced that Famin will continue to fill the position for the upcoming racing season.
Famin was technical director at Peugeot Sport from 2012-2019 before making a move to the FIA in 2019. He then became Chief Technical Development Officer at Alpine F1 team in February 2022. Since mid-2023, he has been team boss and will remain so for some time.
