Max Verstappen has a lead of eight points in the world championship with two races to go. With Lewis Hamilton closing in on the race, every detail could be important at the Grands Prix of Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi. Christian Horner realises that all too well.
Red Bull Racing had a good run in the US and Mexico GPs, but it was a different story in Brazil and Qatar. The Austrian team had no answer to Hamilton's speed and saw their lead in the world championship shrink.
Verstappen had problems with a rattling rear wing, which may have caused the Dutchman to lose speed. Horner expects this to be resolved in a week and a half. "I think from a reliability point of view it should be relatively - hopefully - straightforward to sort out those actuators. We've been using them for many years now, so it's not a new technology", he explains in conversation with F1i.com.

Role of Bottas and Perez in title fight

In the final phase of the Formula 1 season, Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will be very important for their teammate. The Mexican indicated in an interview with ESPN that he is willing to work hard for Verstappen to get him the world title. For that, however, Perez must manage to qualify at the front in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi.
