Sergio Perez is on good form in the closing stages of the season. The Mexican has finished P3 three times in a row. He will also be hoping for a strong result for the team at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Thanks to his good results Red Bull has been able to close the gap on Mercedes in the Constructors' Championship.
"I’m very happy about what happened in Mexico, but now we are onto a different one. A new venue, a new track, so we have to deliver again", Perez explains to the camera of F1. The P3 at Perez's home circuit was celebrated exuberantly.

Perez hopes for strong weekend

Is the Mexican aiming for another podium in Brazil after three podiums in a row? "Definitely, I’m targeting for that. We have to be perfect tomorrow. We have to have a good qualifying. In the sprint we try to make up as much as possible. I think we should be able to be strong on Sunday", he continues.
It has taken a while, but Perez seems to be performing better and better in the Red Bull. As a result, the Mexican is feeling more confident now that he is used to the car. "I’m starting to feel more confident, especially starting the weekend on a much better level, which I think makes a big difference."
