The Monaco Grand Prix is considered the crown jewel of the Formula One calendar. In 2020 the race was not on the calendar due to the coronavirus, but in 2021 the street race is back. However, the most fun and exciting part of this weekend is on Saturday, rather than Sunday like other races.

Qualifying determines the starting order for the race, and while this is obviously important at any circuit, it is essential in Monaco. In the narrow streets, a Formula 1 car is almost impossible to overtake. So you have to qualify well on Saturday, to have a chance at victory.

The man on pole also won the Grand Prix in the last ten editions. So the drivers have to get the maximum out of themselves to make sure they are in the best possible position for the race.
