VIDEO: Verstappen back in a kart after four years for balloon race against Perez

Before the two Red Bull Racing drivers hit the Barcelona circuit this weekend, we can see them compete against each other in a balloon race courtesy of the Red Bull media team. Images of this were posted on Twitter today.

The two drivers get into their go-karts with the aim of smashing as many paint-filled balloons as possible. In fitting fashion they do so accompanied by 99 Luftballons.

"This will be interesting, I haven't driven a go-kart in four years," Verstappen laughed prior to the start. Perez knows better than to consider this an easy race though: "You're always pushing," the Mexican knows.

In the video it is not clear which of the two racers is the eventual winner. This will likely be shared by the team in a later video, as footage from this particular afternoon has appeared on Red Bull's social pages on earlier occasions.
