'Red Bull arrange two seats at an F2 team for young talents in 2021'

There is still one Grand Prix weekend on the programme for Formula 2, but the race teams are already busy with next season's line-up. Red Bull Racing seem to be working together with the Hitech team. Juniors Jüri Vips and Liam Lawson seem to become the drivers' duo for 2021 in the British formation.

That is what AutoHebdo writes. The French outlet say that the talks between Red Bull and the team led by Oliver Oakes are at an advanced stage.

Strange season Vips.

Vips was initially scheduled to be released in Japan's Super Formula this season, but because of the coronavirus, the Est in the Formula Regional European Championship went in search of points for his super license. However, in the last three races Vips came out in Formula 2 at DAMS, due to an injury of Sean Gelael. In Mugello he immediately took a podium place in the sprint race. 

Lawson is already connected to Hitech, in Formula 3. In that championship, the New Zealander finished fifth after three consecutive failures. Red Bull wants Lawson and Vips to be in the same team, so the talks with Hitech were started. They are said to be nearing completion, although it is expected that it will be some time before everything will be made official.

Mazepin to Haas F1?

Currently Nikita Mazepin and Luca Ghiotto are driving for Hitech in Formula 2. The former is associated with a seat at Haas F1 in the pinnacle of motorsport and with this news in mind, a step from Mazepin to Formula 1 seems to have come one step closer.
