LIVE: The third free practice ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix

Today qualifying is just around the corner in the Spanish heat. But before the important session this afternoon, the drivers will one more hour to prepare. Let's see who can squeeze out some extra time on the fast laps.

Mercedes was by far the fastest in the first two free practice sessions and there is a good chance that Lewis Hamilton and teammate Valtteri Bottas will also be at the top of the times list in FP3. Max Verstappen managed to finish third twice. The warm weather in Spain seems to be working out well for Red Bull Racing and it is hoped that Alexander Albon can get closer to his teammate.

A lap on Circuit de Catalunya is the most famous lap of the calendar for the teams. After all, the teams test there every winter. Most teams do say that because it is so much warmer than during the winter tests, almost all data can go into the trash.
