During qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday Max Verstappen didn't make it past seventh place and had to explain to the media why. It might be difficult to stick with the team at such a time, but the fact that he can't do anything about it himself can also be seen as something positive.

His father Jos at least tries to encourage him with this through Instagram. "I know there is no more in it dear, but what a bad result", are the affectionate words from Jos Verstappen's account.

Nobody present on the track

Now Max himself is almost a Formula 1 veteran. It is precisely at these moments that people close to you on the track will probably be missing, especially someone with the knowledge and life experience of Jos Verstappen. If only to let off some steam.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entourage of the drivers on the tracks will be reduced to a minimum. In other words: there is no one at all besides the team members. All support will therefore have to take place digitally this season.

P7 is not were we want to be, but the whole weekend has been tricky. We tried a lot of things but couldn’t find the balance and grip today. I’ll push and give it my all tomorrow #KeepPushing #HungarianGP
