Horner sees opportunities for British GP in August: "The UK is a bit behind".

For a long time it seemed that Silverstone would be the location for the second 'double header' after the two races in Austria at the end of July. However, due to the measures announced by the British government, this seems increasingly unlikely. Christian Horner does not yet want to give up the British Grand Prix completely and sees opportunities in August.
"We might go to Austria, Austria, another European race, and then back to the United Kingdom. By that time, when it is already August, you hope that it goes better and there is more displacement allowed", says the team boss of Red Bull Racing to The Race.

The flexible calendar

Britain probably needs a little more time to relax the coronary measures than the rest of Europe. One of the ways to give the British government that time is by driving the first four races of the season (in Austria and for example Hungary) in direct succession.
"I don't think it will come to that. The situation is developing on a daily basis and the UK is a bit behind the rest of Europe at the moment, but hopefully that situation will change".

The fact that there can't be an audience at the Grands Prix is an advantage in this case. "The calendar is very flexible at the moment because of course there are no crowds present at these European races. It's like renting a test track."
